Our five rheumatologists are all board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and have a combined 72 years of specialty experience. It is very important to our physicians to offer care with empathy and compassion. This means taking enough time during appointments, answering questions thoroughly, and being accessible.
Our doctors pride themselves in remaining thoroughly up to date in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology via an active role in the medical community. Our doctors helped found and lead the Kentucky Rheumatology Association, and lead the Tri-state Biologics Club in which the latest medical treatments are presented and discussed. Our doctors give monthly lectures and provide supervised training to Family Practice residents at St. Elizabeth teaching hospital and to Internal Medicine residents at Jewish Hospital.
In an effort to offer cutting edge treatment options, Doctors Kunath, Burte, Temming, Varghese and Colglazier are members of the Cincinnati Rheumatic Disease Study Group which offers innovative treatment trials for interested patients.
