Some autoimmune conditions require the use of advanced biologic medications which may necessitate intravenous (IV) administration.  Our office hosts an infusion center, staffed with experienced nurses and supervised by our physicians. While some rheumatology practices use off-site oncology centers for infusion, we feel it is important to have a dedicated center familiar with rheumatology medications, and on-site physician supervision by the prescribing doctor.
